You should definitely size up. I normally wear a size 38DD. The 38 part fit but the DD/E part was too small.

I’m a 34j but chose 36i as the sister size. I thought the fit would be weird because of the shape but no. It fits perfectly. I can’t wait to wear square tops now. As you can see from the photo, no spillage from the top.
